Working together makes great things happen!
The Friends of Billy Kenoi continue to work in each district across the island, mobilizing our friends and neighbors to get involved in the development of their communities to make greater and greater things happen for our island.
Together We Can, the mana‘o behind our work, is based upon a deep commitment to true collaboration. We believe that when we can identify a common goal to work toward together, it doubles our inspiration. The walls between us fall away, and the barriers to achievement disappear. We believe that this approach works as well for family and friends as it does for neighbors and nations.
We all, ultimately want the same things for our families, our people and our island. We all strive for more opportunity, a better quality of life, and we all want to preserve the beautiful environment and the culture that nurtures us.
Working together effectively is much more than lending the willingness to work alongside others. We must also step forward with a supportive hand to do more than simply help. We, as a group, must provide the leadership needed to truly bring about consensus among people across the Island and the state. Our organization must continue to provide the necessary framework and create new platforms for our communities to work together from. Most importantly, we must continue to build momentum for this collaborative approach and promote awareness of the impact it creates in our lives.
But, without the support of those who can lend their time and resources to support our efforts, our work becomes meaningless. We need you to make it happen! We invite you to join our organization and consider making a contribution of whatever you can afford to give. Every little bit helps us achieve our goals together.

We will keep you in touch about events in your community, current news and information about new initiatives and programs available across Hawai‘i Island, both those in development, and those underway.

You will receive regular email newsletters, occasional emails and reminders about community service and charity projects taking place across the island.
